How Lessons Work
A practical coaching approach for adults who want to get better at chess.
How I Teach
Lessons start with fundamentals and practical decisions, not abstract theory. The point is to help you see the board more clearly, think more calmly, and leave every session knowing exactly what to work on next.
- ✓ Fundamentals first, so every lesson builds on something stable.
- ✓ A practical thought process you can use in real games.
- ✓ No theory dumping or memorization for its own sake.
- ✓ Lessons adapted to your level, goals, and travel rhythm.
What You'll Work On
The curriculum depends on your level, but the work always stays concrete: cleaner habits, better decisions, and a clearer sense of what matters in your games.
- ✓ Board vision and blunder reduction
- ✓ Tactical awareness and candidate moves
- ✓ Calculation and simple plans
- ✓ Endgames, pattern recognition, and game review
Who This Is For
You do not need a rating, a deep opening repertoire, or years of tournament experience. This is coaching for adults who want to learn seriously, whether they are starting from move one or returning to the game with better questions.
- ✓ Total beginners who want a clear first step
- ✓ Adults coming back to chess after years away
- ✓ Social and club players who want better habits
- ✓ Travelers who need structure without a rigid long-term plan

Remote continuity
Start in one city, continue in the next. Online lessons are a first-class option, not a fallback.
Short stays still work
One focused lesson can be useful on its own. A short series works too if you are only around for a week or two.
Digital notes that stick
You leave with practical notes, positions, and next steps you can revisit between cities.
A realistic pace
The goal is sustainable improvement that fits your actual schedule, not a fantasy training plan.

The Coach
Hi, I'm Dani.
I've spent years traveling full-time, and chess has been one of the best ways to meet people wherever I land.
Teaching started simply: one friend who wanted to learn, then another, then more people who needed someone to explain the game clearly without making it feel intimidating.
My background is in technology and workshop facilitation, which means I care a lot about how people actually learn. A good lesson should leave you with cleaner habits, better questions, and a next step you can remember tomorrow.
That's the approach here. Practical, friendly, and serious about helping you improve.
